1. Who we are
Hunter Suite (huntersuite.tech and its tools) is run by Lee McCaffrey and Shelley Newton, trading as Hunter Suite. Hunter Suite is not a limited company. "We", "us" and "our" mean Lee McCaffrey and Shelley Newton trading as Hunter Suite. "You" means the person or business buying or using the service.

2. Who the service is for
Hunter Suite is built for business use: buyers, advisers, brokers, investors and deal teams researching acquisitions. By buying, you confirm you are acting for business purposes unless you tell us otherwise. If you are a consumer, section 19 also applies and your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in these terms.
3. What we provide
Hunter Suite provides acquisition intelligence tools and reports: Succession Hunter, Domain Hunter, Site Hunter, Business Hunter, The Deal Desk, DataRhunter and The Counting House. Outputs are produced using our own scoring methodology (the Bowman Methodology) from public data, third-party data and information you give us.
4. Not financial, legal or tax advice
Our outputs, including BUY, HOLD and AVOID verdicts, risk ratings and offer ranges, are research tools. They are not financial, legal, tax, valuation or investment advice, and you should not rely on them as the only basis for any decision. Take independent professional advice before entering any transaction.

Prices are in pounds sterling. The price that applies is the one shown when you buy. We are not currently VAT-registered; if that changes, VAT will be added where it applies and shown before you pay.
6. Payment
Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions are charged in advance at the start of each monthly or yearly period.
7. One-off purchases
A Target Snapshot gives access for 30 days from purchase. A Full Suite Report gives access to your chosen target for 6 months from purchase. After that period your access ends; any report or PDF you have downloaded is yours to keep.
8. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time by emailing info@huntersuite.tech. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We do not refund part of a period already paid, except as set out in our Refund Policy.
- When a subscription ends, is cancelled or goes unpaid, access to the tools ends.
- If we change a subscription price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
9. Offers and credits
Upgrade credits
If you buy a Target Snapshot or a Full Suite Report and then start an Active Desk subscription within 30 days, we credit the full amount you paid against your first Active Desk payment. One credit per purchase. Credits are applied by a single-use code we send you, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Searcher rate
Available only to search funds and acquisition entrepreneurs we have verified. It has a 12-month minimum term: you agree to pay for 12 months even if you stop using the service sooner. After 12 months it continues monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
Founding member offer
Limited to the first ten Active Desk accounts we accept. Active Desk is £979 a month for your first 12 months, in return for your agreement to a named case study we write with you and you approve before publication. After 12 months the standard Active Desk price applies unless you cancel. If you cancel within the 12 months, the offer ends with your subscription.
10. Your account
- Each seat is for one named person. Logins must not be shared. Hunter Firm covers five named people.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at info@huntersuite.tech if you think someone else has used it.
- We may sign you out of all sessions to protect an account.
11. Fair use
"Unlimited" means unlimited normal professional use by the named user of a seat. It does not allow automated or bulk extraction (scraping, scripts or bots) outside the documented API, reselling our data or outputs as a data product, or use that affects the service for other customers.
12. Bulk screen allowances
The full-register bulk screen in Succession Hunter reveals up to 100 companies a day on Active Desk and up to 225 companies a day per seat on Hunter Firm. It is not included in the Target Snapshot or the Full Suite Report.
13. Using the data lawfully
Our outputs can include personal data about company directors and owners, taken from public registers. You are responsible for using it lawfully, including under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations when you contact anyone. You must not use Hunter Suite for any unlawful, misleading or harassing purpose.
14. Intellectual property
The Bowman Methodology, our scoring logic, software and branding belong to us. Reports we produce for you are yours to use for your own acquisition work and, on Hunter Firm, to share with your clients under your own brand. You must not copy, reverse-engineer or resell the service itself.
15. Data accuracy and availability
We use public sources such as Companies House, third-party data providers and information you supply. We check for consistency and flag anomalies, but we cannot guarantee that third-party data is complete, accurate or up to date. We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may carry out maintenance or improve the tools.
16. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise:
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim;
- for business customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss, including losses arising from acquisition decisions made using our outputs.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, if a login is shared, or if payment fails. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version shown on this page when you buy applies to that purchase. For subscriptions, we will email you about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
19. If you are a consumer
If you buy as a consumer (not for business purposes), you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service. Because our service starts as soon as you pay, you ask us to start straight away when you buy. If you cancel within 14 days, we will refund you, less a fair amount for what you have already used; once a report has been fully delivered, the right to cancel it ends. Your statutory rights are not affected.
20. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your home courts.
